International Electrical Engineering semester

  

  • A one-semester International Program (spring term)
  • English-taught classes
  • Opened in January 2017
  • Destined for both French and foreign students

 

Objectives:

  • Offer international and native students the opportunity to study in a region at the heart of Europe and close to Germany, Switzerland and Italy;
  • Give them the opportunity to polish their English and technical / scientific skills;
  • Meet the needs of students by offering them a tailored program that includes practical classes, tutorials and a project, in a small class (no more than 16 students)
  • Allow them to do an internship in local companies, research laboratories, at CERN or abroad, in order to successfully completely the term and broaden their horizons;

STUDENT PROFILE

All nationalities are welcome to participate on this course.

Prerequisites:

  • Good level of English
  • Open-minded, especially as regards learning from and adapting to other cultures
  • One and a half year of Higher Education studies (90 ECTS) from a technical course.

Candidates are selected based on both their motivation (interview) and their academic results.

APPLICATION FORM

Erasmus students :

Erasmus candidates must apply online via University Savoie Mont Blanc’s application software : MoveOnline. The applications are open from beginning of October until the last week of Octoberl. The application form (printed and signed) as well as all the necessary documents must be sent to the postal address to Mrs Severine Quillet by October  31th at the latest. Non Erasmus students :

All the other candidats must complete the application form below :

 SCHEDULE AND FEES

The schedule : The classes begin on the 23rd of January. The internship begins on week 14, on the 3rd of April and ends on the 16th of June.

The fees :

  • French students : about 400 €
  • Erasmus European students : no fee
  • Non Erasmus, non European students : 1700 €

Non EU citizens – Applicants living in the countries listed below :

Algeria, Argentina, Benin, Brazil, Cameroon, Canada, Chili, China, Colombia, Congo (Brazzaville), Czech Republic, Gabon, Guinea, India, Ivory Coast, Japan, Lebanon, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Mauritius, Mexico, Russia, Senegal, Syria, Taiwan, Tunisia, Turkey, Vietnam, United States of America must then register with the local CampusFrance office in order to be able to apply for admission and obtain your student visa. This is a mandatory procedure.
